In 2009, the Marsalis Family received the nation’s highest jazz honor, the NEA Jazz Masters Award, and celebrated with a special performance at the White House and the Kennedy Center, captured on the album Music Redeems. Today, Jason channels that legacy through his acclaimed Vibraphone Quartet, blending the elegance of Ellis’ influence with his own daring, modern swing.
