About the Artists: Chuck Cannon: One of Cannon's first notable compositions was "I Love the Way You Love Me", a Number One hit for John Michael Montgomery in 1993, which Cannon co-wrote with Victoria Shaw.[2] This song also won the Song of the Year award at the Academy of Country Music awards, which is awarded to songwriters.[4] Cannon then began working primarily for Toby Keith, including "Me Too", "Dream Walkin'", "We Were in Love", "Getcha Some", "If a Man Answers" and "When Love Fades" in the late 1990s, "How Do You Like Me Now?!" in 2000, and "American Soldier" in 2003–2004.[3] "How Do You Like Me Now?!" was also the Number One country song of the year according to the Billboard Year-End charts. Both it and "I Love the Way You Love Me" earned Eight-Million-Air awards from Broadcast Music Incorporated for receiving eight million spins at radio.[2] Cannon also self-released two albums: God Shaped Hole and Love and Money in 2006 and 2008, respectively. Cannon's 2007 song "If I Was Jesus" was nominated for in the category Americana Song of the Year at the 7th Annual Independent Music Awards. Angie Aparo: Angie Aparo is the solo song writing talent behind Faith Hill's multi platinum song ‘Cry' (for which Hill won a Grammy). Aparo‘s songwriting credits have also appeared on the albums of Miley Cyrus, Big & Rich and Tim McGraw. Aparo penned two songs on Tim McGraw’s 2012 release ‘Emotional Traffic’, namely; 'The One’ and ‘Only Human' (which McGraw recorded as a duet with R&B artist, Ne-Yo). Also in 2012, Aparo appeared on Zac Brown's live album/DVD 'Pass the Jar' and was featured on a duet with Brown on the song 'Junk Yard' (Atlanta Fox Theater) Martin Lesch: Internationally acclaimed pianist, composer, and educator Martin Lesch has been a staple of the southern regional music scene for over two decades. Early in his career he was well recognized for his work as a singer songwriter. Most recently Lesch is regarded as one of the finest jazz pianists in the southeast. Every Monday, he performs to sold-out audiences at Hilton Head's legendary jazz club, The Jazz Corner. Lesch has toured nationally and internationally with various artists and shared the stage with numerous Grammy winners throughout his career. In addition to his performances, he works with The Junior Jazz Foundation to promote jazz education for the next generation of musicians. Lesch is also a well-known advocate for arts and culture in the Lowcountry.
