Bennett's extraordinary career spanned more than seven decades, preserving the timeless artistry of the Great American Songbook while inspiring generations of musicians and audiences worldwide. Beyond his musical achievements, Bennett's life reflected a deep commitment to service, justice, and humanity—from his military service during World War II, including the Battle of the Bulge, to his support of the Civil Rights Movement alongside Martin Luther King Jr. in Selma.
Leading the celebration is Antonia Bennett, whose lifelong dedication to the Great American Songbook reflects the values and artistry championed by her father. Raised in a musical household and inspired by legends such as Duke Ellington, Frank Sinatra, and Ella Fitzgerald, Antonia developed her craft at Berklee College of Music before launching her own acclaimed career.
