With 18 albums as a leader, performances in 25+ countries, and multiple Album of the Year honors from The NYC Jazz Record (2018, 2020, 2023), she’s one of today’s most celebrated jazz artists. Named Pianist and Vocalist of the Year by Hot House Magazine (2019) and a perennial favorite in the Jazz Journalists Awards and DownBeat Critics Poll, Champian is equally dazzling behind the keys and the mic. Discovered at age 10 performing for family friend Clark Terry’s 75th birthday, she’s since shared the stage with jazz royalty including Lou Donaldson, Nicholas Payton, Jimmy Cobb, and the Count Basie Orchestra. A Birdland regular for over two decades, her 2023 release Meet Me at Birdland was hailed as Best Vocal Album of the Year by The NYC Jazz Record. Whether swinging in New York, headlining festivals from Spain to South Korea, or recording acclaimed tributes like Birdsong and After Dark, Champian’s galvanizing presence and joyful artistry make every song a work of art. CARMEN BRADFORD Carmen Bradford, 2024 Grammy winner for Basie Swings the Blues – The Count Basie Orchestra, is true jazz royalty. A five-time Grammy nominee and recipient of the Los Angeles Jazz Society's Jazz Vocalist Award, she’s celebrated for her dazzling versatility, technical brilliance, and devotion to preserving America’s jazz legacy. Bradford has shared the stage or studio with legends from Tony Bennett and Lena Horne to Wynton Marsalis and Willie Nelson, and has performed with top symphonies and jazz orchestras around the globe. Her voice graces projects like the Grammy-winning Benny Carter Songbook and A Very Swingin’ Basie Christmas. In 2016, she appeared on Darren English’s Imagination Nation, a Nelson Mandela tribute that won the Global Peace Song Awards’ Pledge for Peace and Best in Jazz.
